Use canned foie gras on crisp-bread with a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze.

Ingredients:

  • Canned foie gras (choose a high-quality brand for best texture and flavor)

  • Crispbread or artisanal crackers (such as melba toast or water crackers)

  • Shelf-stable honey or balsamic glaze

  • Dried figs or dates (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

  • Sea salt & black pepper (to enhance flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the base – Arrange crispbread or crackers on a serving tray.

  2. Slice the foie gras – Carefully cut the canned foie gras into thin slices.

  3. Layer beautifully – Place a slice of foie gras on each crispbread.

  4. Drizzle with elegance – Add a light drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze over the top.

  5. Optional finishing touch – Garnish with finely chopped dried figs or dates for added complexity.

  6. Season to perfection – Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and cracked black pepper for balance.
