
Miso-Glazed Nuts
Toss shelf-stable nuts in miso paste and bake for a rich umami crunch.

1 cup mixed unsalted nuts (cashews, almonds, peanuts)

2 tbsp white miso paste

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

½ tsp soy sauce

¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).

Toast the nuts: Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together miso, sesame oil, maple syrup, soy sauce, and chili flakes.

Coat the nuts: Remove nuts from the oven, toss them in the miso mixture, and spread them back onto the baking sheet.

Bake again: Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Cool & enjoy: Let them cool completely before serving.
