Black Garlic & Walnut Tapenade

Combine jarred black garlic with walnuts and olive oil for an umami-packed spread.

  • 2 cloves black garlic, mashed

  • ½ cup walnuts, toasted

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp capers

  • ½ tsp fresh thyme leaves

  • Salt & pepper

Instructions:

  1. Blend the ingredients: In a food processor, combine black garlic, walnuts, olive oil, lemon juice, capers, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pulse until smooth but slightly chunky.

  2. Adjust seasoning: Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or lemon juice as needed.

  3. Serve & enjoy: Spread on toasted bread, crackers, or use as a topping for grilled meats or pasta.
