Candied Nuts with Espresso Dust
Caramelize shelf-stable nuts and coat with instant espresso powder for a sophisticated twist.

1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp unsalted butter
-
1 tbsp water
-
1 tsp instant espresso powder
-
½ tsp ground cinnamon
-
Pinch of salt
Instructions:

Prepare the coating: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, sugar, and water, stirring until the mixture becomes a syrup.

Caramelize the nuts: Add mixed nuts and stir continuously for 5-7 minutes until they are evenly coated and golden brown.

Dust with espresso: Remove from heat and immediately toss with espresso powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Cool & serve: Spread nuts on parchment paper to cool completely before enjoying.
